Biography* | Eric Steinfeldt, 1917-2009: Eric passed away on a Friday at the age of 91. He was survived by his wife, son, and two nephews. Eric was a member of the Galveston Historical Society, Texas State Historical Association, Wittie Museum, and the Nautical Research Guild. He was also an authority on the Maritime History of the Texas Gulf Coast. Funeral service was on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions were requested to the Wittie Museum, 3801 Broadway St., San Antonio, TX 78209. Peter Loring Mortuaries, 1101 McCullough was in charge. |
