Biography* George M. Horger, 1877-1961:
In 1880, George his parents and siblings were living in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. His father Anthony was a first generation Bavarian-American farmer. His mother Anna was born in Michigan to parents born in Westphalia, Germany. George had four sisters, two older and two younger. He was educated through the 7th grade. In 1910, married and with children, George and family were living at 222 Warren avenue in Dearborn township, Wayne county. George owned a farm with mortgage. By 1930, George was farming in Shelby township of Macomb County and they owned their home. By 1940, the house was valued at $8,000.

George, 84, died on a Friday.
