Biography* | | Donald Adelbert Fogo, 1919-1976: Donald, with a grade school education, was working as a bartender in Arena Township in Iowa County at the time of his 1941 marriage. On 2 January 1943, he enlisted in the Army at Milwaukee as a Private for the duration of the war plus 6-months. At that time, Donald had a grade school education, was married, and was working in a filling station. He later worked as a mechanic for Glendenning Redi-Mix in Darlington for twenty years. He died suddenly at his home on a Friday morning of a heart attack. He was survived by his wife, two daughters, six grandchildren, his mother, and one sister. Funeral services were held on Sunday at the Steil funeral home with the Rev. Jones officiating. |
