| Death* | 1 Feb 1869 | Clontymore, Kinawley, Fermanagh, Ireland; Witness=Michael Glancy1 |
| Biography* | Terrence Glancy, ca1819-1869: Terrence was the christening sponsor for two of Ned Glancy's sons; one, his namesake Terence in 1842, the other, Peter in 1847. Am not sure if this is the same Terrence or not but a Terence Clancey was subleasing a house (valued at 10 shillings) in Drumbargy townland, Cleenish parish from James Keenan in 1862. Terrence died on a Monday of pleuritis at age 50. He had been ill for one week and Terrence's nephew Mick Glancy of Knocknacrieve (sic) was present at his death. Terrence was a widower and his occupation was that of tailor. There was a Mary Clancy who died 06 December 1865 in Cloonatrig, Cleenish parish at age 58 (ca1807-1865). Her husband was a tailor. Could this be Terrence's deceased wife? |
