| Biography* | Helena T. Leonard, 1901-1917: Helena, a first generation Irish-American, was the fourth child of seven and the third of four daughters. In 1910, the family lived at 378 Grafton Street in Worcester's 3rd ward. Helena, 16, died in Saint Vincent's Hospital on a Sunday. She was survived by her parents, three sisters Catherine T., Mary A., Margaret A.: and three brotherss John J., Edward F., and Leo P. The funeral was held from the home at 32 Mendon Street on Wednesday followed by requiem high mass at Saint Stephen's. Fay Brothers funeral home was in charge of arrangements. |
