Biography* Margaret Washburn Proctor Mulvihill Giusso, 1910-1994:
Margaret was the eldest of two daughters. Her father Edward was born in Indiana, her mother Frances was born in Kentucky. By 1915, the family had moved to California. In 1920 they were living in a mortgaged house on Seventh Street in Garden Grove Precinct, Westminster township, Mendocine County. The father Edward was a laborer on an irrigation project. The mother Frances was working as a packer in an orange warehouse. Margaret was married first, at about the age of 17, to a Mr. Proctor, who was born in North Carolina. By 1930, Margaret's mother Frances had remarried to Frank Whitney. Margaret, who was divorced from Mr. Proctor, and she and her sister were living with their mother and step-father in Willits Town, Medocino County. In 1935 Margaret married William Mulvihill. In 1940 they were living in Fresno City, California. Later they moved to Vallejo in Solano County. After William died, Margaret married Peter Giusso, a man 29-years her senior. Was the owner of a tourist residence in Fresno for ten years.

Margaret, 83, died on a Sunday. A memorial service was held in Kailua, Hawaii at a later date. Remembrances to Oasis6, 1717 S Chestnut, Fresno were suggested. The Cremation Society of Central California was in charge.

Biography* Marie Anna Jackson Duffy Mulvihill, 1907-1995:
Marie was one of five children born to Henry Jackson and Anna Degner. Both parents were first generation German-Americans. In 1900, the couple were renting in Springwells township of Wayne County, Michigan. Henry was working as a steam fitter. In 1910, the mother Anna was living at 17 Homer Street in Detroit in a house owned with mortgage. Her three living children, Marie was the youngest, and her husband Henry's mother were with her but Henry was not. Anna was working as a cleaning lady. In 1912, Henry and Anna were divorced. By 1920 Anna had married Luther Briggs and the family was renting half a duplex at 297 South in Detroit. Marie married Melvin Duffy in 1926 and in 1930 they and their one child were living at 15506 Birwood in Detroit in an $8,000 house they owned. Melvin was a radio engineer working in retail. In 1932, Marie, now with two children, divorced Melvin on the grounds of extreme cruelty and non-support. The uncontested divorce was granted with no conditions and with alimony. In 1939, Marie married Thomas Mulvihill. At the time of the marriage, Marie was living in Angola, Indiana. Thomas lived in Wyandotte, Michigan. (Those two cities are 2-hours apart by car on 2020 interstates.) In 1940, they were renting a duplex at 65 Maple in Wyandotte. Thomas's sister and a cousin were living with them. Marie's two children were not (they were with their father Melvin Duffy). Thomas died in 1973. Marie's last known residence according to the Social Security Administration was in Rose City, Ogemaw County, Michigan

Marie Anna Mulvihill, 88, died on a Wednesday in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was survived by one child with spouse. Burial was to take place at a later date.
