Biography* | Lucille Plachy Manley Parr, 1915-1994: Lucille completed four-years of high school. In 1940, she and her husband Mark Manley were living with her parents on the home farm in York township, Dane County, Wisconsin. Mark's widowed father William was living there also. Lucille was a life-long resident of Dane County until, circa 1992 , she moved to Spokane, Washington where her daughter lived. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a clerk for the State of Wisconsin in the Dane County Assessors office. Lucille, 78, died on a Friday in Spokane. She was survived by her daughter, and two grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and by two husbands: Mark A Manley in 1963 and Louis Parr in 1986. The funeral was held on Friday from Sacred Hearts in Sun Prairie and was officiated by the Rev. Antonio Rodriquez. |

Biography* | Frances Hemel Manley, 1874-1935: Frances was born in Bristol Township, Dane County, Wisconsin, to a Bavarian born father and a Wisconsin born mother. In 1900, Frances and her first husband Edward Finger were renting a farm in Bristol township. They had two daughters. In 1930, she and her second husband William Manley lived on Main Street in Sun Prairie Village. Frances was a life long resident of the Sun Prairie area and of Sun Prairie Village. Frances, 61, died at home on a Saturday after a long illness of about five-years. She was survived by three children from her first marriage, two daughters; Mrs. W. Rutland and Mrs. C. Chase and one son; Leo, all of Sun Prairie; one granddaughter, four brothers, Charles, George, Henry and Joseph, all of this vicinity; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Lyster, Mrs. Margaret Krause and Mrs. Sophie Klubertanz, all of Sun Prairie. Funeral services were held on Wednesday from Sacred Hearts with the Rev. Koehring officiating. Pallbearers were John Betlach, John Batz, Matt Matuz, John Heisler, Frank Stegerwald Jr., and Matt Skalitzky. Frances was buried with her first husband. Jones & TTuschen undertakers were in charge. |
