Biography* Winfield Francis Glaub, 1901-1970:
In 1900, the year before Winfield was born, the family was living at 2610 Sarah Street in St. Louis 26th ward. Winfield's father was a first generation German-American born in Missouri. His mother was a first generation German-American born in Illinois. By 1920, the family lived at 3111 Cherry Street, Maplewood City, St. Louis County. Winfield, age 18, was working as a bookkeeper at an electric company. Circa 1926, Winfield married Emma Roseman. By 1930, they had three daughters and owned a $6,800 house on Leonhard Drive, Rock Hill Town, St Louis County. Sometime later, Winfield and Emma divorced and subsequently, Winfield married Blanche Mertens.

Winfield died on a Tuesday at age 68. He is buried with his second wife Blanche.

Biography* Catherine Flynn O'Brien, 1865-1948:
Catherine, a first generation Irish American and the eldest of four, two daughters and two sons, was christened at St. Michael's Church in St. Louis on 05 November 1865 by the Rev. Pat'k O'Brien with sponsors John Dunphy and Hanora Hinchey. In 1870, the family lived in St Louis 10th ward. In 1880, they lived at 217 Howard Street in the 4th ward. Catherine's father worked as a teamster. Her 1886 marriage was witnessed by Mike O'Brien, of no known relation to the groom, and her sister. By 1900, the family lived at 2904 North 12th Street in the 3rd ward and had six children. Her husband Michael died in November of that year. By 1930, Catherine owned a $4,000 house at 2820 22nd Street in the 18th ward.

Catherine, a resident of 4218 St. Louis Avenue, died on a Wednesday at age 82. Cause of death was cerebral apoplexy. Her physician was Dr. M. P. Shorecey, City Infirmary Hospital, 5800 Arsenal, St. Louis. Catherine's funeral was held on Saturday from St. Matthew's Church. Howard North Side Funeral Home, 4212 St. Louis Avenue was in charge. She was buried with her parents.
