Thomas' christening sponsors were Michael Cody (this could be Thomas' first cousin, son of his aunt Mary Hanley Cody) and Anna Cody (but who is this? Thomas' had no known relations named Anna Cody. Maybe this is his cousin Anastasia?). Thomas was on the home farm in Cronavone in 1901 and 1911. At the time of his 1918 marriage, he was farming in Glenbreeda, Borrisoleigh parish.

Thomas, an 89-year-old widower, died on a Tuesday of coronary insufficiency and arteriosclerosis. His son James was the informant on the death cert.

Reposing this Monday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Funeral Home, Kilcommon, with removal to St Patrick’s Church, Kilcommon. Reqieum Mass on Tuesday with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
