Biography* Emma Ederer Neuheisel, 1906-1989:
Probably born in Franklin township, Emma's birth date listed on her tombstone - 3 September 1906 - is incorrect. Sometime between 1910 and 1920, her family moved to Troy township, where she was living when she married Anton.

Emma died on a Tuesday at a Sauk City nursing home after an extended illness. She was survived by three daughters, fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one sister, and one brother. Her funeral was held on Friday at Saint Luke's in Plain with the Rev. William Seipp officiating.

Biography* Edward Ederer, 1895-1986:
The third child and second son born to a Bavarian father and a Wisconsin mother, Edward was christened on 6 October 1895 at Saint Luke's in Plain. A farmer all of his life, Edward was a short, stout man with brown eyes and black hair.

He died at his home in Plain on a Tuesday after an extended illness. Edawrd was 90. He was survived by his wife, three daughters, one son, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters, and two brothers. Funeral services were held on Thursday at Saint Luke's in Plain with the Rev. Thomas Fitzgerald officiating.

Hubert was christened on 23 September 1907 at Saint Luke's in Plain. There is conflicting evidence on whether he was born on the 20th or 21st of September. Hubert farmed in the Spring Green area for 34 years before retiring to the village.

He died, at age 78, on a Friday at the Greenway Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was survived by his wife, two sons, three daughters, 15 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother. Hubert's funeral was held on Monday at Saint John's in Spring Green with the Rev. Kenneth Klubertanz officiating.
