Biography* | Anastasia Kusser Neuheisel Wolf, 1890-1983: Anastasia was a first generation American born of German parents. A resident of Adrian, Minnesota for forty-three years and of the Arnold Memorial Nursing Home for six-and-a-half years, Anastasia, age 92, died on a Thursday. She was survived by her second husband, three sons, two daughters, 57 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her first husband, one son, one step-son, one grandchild, five brothers, and five sisters. Her funeral was held on Saturday from Saint Adrian Catholic church with the Rev. John F. Traufler and the Rev. Richard Loomis officiating. |

Biography* | William J. Neuheisel, 1922-1981: William's family moved from his birthplace of LeMars, Iowa to Remsen, Iowa when he was five-years-old. In 1930, listed as William Wolf, he was living with his mother and step-father on a rented farm in Marion township, Plymouth County, Iowa. At age 16, the family moved again to Adrian, Minnesota where William remained until he joined the U. S. Navy in 1942. While in the Navy, William served in the South Pacific during World War II. After his discharge in 1945, William worked on various farms and ranches and also worked as a trucker for many years in Minnesota and South Dakota. In 1976, he moved to Lemmon, Perkins County, South Dakota and in December, to Vale in Butte County. In September 1980, he moved to Sturgis in Meade County where he worked for Transystems, Inc. of Billings, Montana. By 1981 he was working for Bradley Sodding of Sturgis. He was a member of the American Legion of Lemmon. William, age 58, died on a Friday in a trucking accident near Wheatland, Wyoming. He was survived by his wife, two sons, five daughters, three step-sons, four step-daughters, his mother, step-father, three half brothers, one half sister, one step-sister, and 19 grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his father and one step-brother. His funeral was held on Tuesday at the F. O. Jolley funeral home with Chaplain H. B. Cleveland and Chaplain Frank Vallo officiating. He was buried with military honors. |
